AACBT Resource Library

The resource library is available to all current members of the AACBT. The library has a wide range of the latest books on CBT and its application to a variety of disorders including anxiety, schizophrenia, eating disorders, PTSD, learning disabilities, substance abuse and personality disorders. The library also has videos of past AACBT workshops and events including the Dr Jeffrey Young Two-day Schema-Focused Workshop, Dr Kim Mueser's workshop on Substance Use and Psychosis and most recently Ann Hackman's workshop on Imagery and PTSD.

Only members of the AACBT are eligible to borrow from the library. The borrowing procedure involves completing a library request form and sending it to the AACBT Ltd PO Box 4040 Nowra East NSW 2541. The form will ask for credit card details as a measure of security against lost or damaged items. Your request will be acknowledged with a telephone call letting you know whether a book is available and when to collect the book. Requests from members will be sent to the borrowers home address via Express post, at the expense of the AACBT. Books will need to be returned to the AACBT via Express post, at the borrower's expense.

The borrowing limit is four weeks. If a book is not returned within a six-week period, the borrower will be contacted by telephone. If the book is not returned before a eight-week period, the book will be considered lost and the cost of replacing the book will be charged to the borrower's credit card.

We would welcome any suggestions from members regarding future purchases for the library and would like to encourage members to take advantage of this valuable clinical resource.
